Brief Biography
Gabriela's road into becoming a member of the International Gendarme is an interesting one, and something that this brief biography may not be enough to do it justice.

Gabriela is the elder child of two, born to the brilliant but eccentric mechanist Salvatore Ancelotti. Her mother died not long after giving birth to her younger brother Patricio, and perhaps due to the strong masculine presence at home, Gabriela developed a very tomboyish attitude. Compared to her brother, Gabriela has almost zero interest in mechanics, but she does know simple maintenance from observing her father at work. However, as time wore on, Salvatore began to change, becoming more lethargic and withdrawn. This became so bad that both children had to run the machine shop in his absence, with Gabriela working the front while Patricio handles the mechanical aspects.

Like many of her peers living in the city-state of Mianni, military conscription was mandatory, even for females, though they are not expected to fight in the front lines. It was during this time that she met Giovanni, and though their initial impressions of each other were negative, fate often works in mysterious ways. The two are known to work together well, and their skill sets perfectly balance each other's weaknesses. Even after being assigned to different departments after their stints, the two maintained in touch, and both are known to be dating each other.

Gabriela's life will change after the incident at the family machine shop which left the place ransacked and her brother losing an arm as well. Unfortunately for her, Salvatore was too unwilling to spill the beans on the incident, and despite her best efforts, the investigation files kept getting buried, preventing any further progress to the case. It was these circumstances that led her to find out about the International Gendarme, a global organization that specializes in conducting investigations, with the ability to circumvent the usual red tape associated with such tasks. After a stringent series of tests that put her intelligence and conditioning to test, Gabriela was formally awarded her badge.

Even though she was officially a Gendarme, it will still be a while before she can begin the investigations related to her family machine shop, due to her junior rank. For now, Gabriela had been assigned to look into various cases opened around her home area, and had been at work since then.

Personality
Losing her mother at a young age and surrounded by males all her life made her develop a tomboyish streak, and her interests can also be considered masculine too (shooting, combat sports, marble hockey). Even her speech patterns can be considered rather masculine, and she only drops it while on cases. In Japanese, this means outside of work, she will use "ore" to refer to herself, for instance.

Gabriela is known to have a bit of a temper, though she does prefer a more subtle way of expressing her anger, a trait that was later picked up by Giovanni's sister, a young marksman girl by the name of Gracia. Gabriela is also known to be rather blunt, and not afraid to criticize anything she deems wrong or inappropriate, something not helped by her natural keen eye. Giovanni had often remarked that he had to intervene at times to prevent her from angering passers-by.

Watching her father fall into his mood swings and her brother's pain during his rehab had made her somewhat cynical and pessimistic with life, something not helped when her case was simply buried. For her, trust was meager in supply, and hard to earn. It also earned her a reputation of being a "sourpuss", due to her frowning demeanor and inability to crack jokes, even in lighthearted situations. The only people she can really trust outside her family are the Pasini siblings, Giovanni and Gracia, and it is these two that she often recruits during investigation tours.

Gracia felt like the younger sister she never had, and after being introduced to each other, the pair are inseparable. Gracia takes a lot of cues from Gabriela, for better or worse, and Gabriela trusts her greatly, especially with her on the scope. However, if you ask her who she can depend on, it's Giovanni. It's not surprising that the two ended up dating, and the pair have been working really well together, both on and off duty. The relationship has been on a down swing lately, but regardless, the pair can trust their backs with each other.

Powers & Abilities
Gabriela is not a mage or has powerful connections, but saying she is completely helpless could not be further from the truth. As a resident of the city-state of Mianni, Gabriela had been trained in combat, from unarmed to melee and shooting. Even when she is unarmed, Gabriela still knows a few tricks to throw assailants aside, though it depends on the target.

Gabriela's primary weapon is a long-barrel pistol, something she crafted with the help from her brother. The long barrel makes reloading difficult (not helped by its single shot nature), but it gives Gabriela an edge in shootouts due to its range. Even so, the pistol itself is still hard enough to knock someone out if struck on the head, though Gabriela prefers not to use this method.

Gabriela's true ability may not be her combat skills, but rather, her sharp wits and attention to detail. Some say this is in part of her military training, but Gabriela is able to sense it when things are amiss or turning adversity to advantage. This quick thinking is essential for her role as an IG investigator, and both Pasini siblings rely on her leadership whenever they are called upon by her to help.

Gabriela's main servant classes are Archer and Assassin due to her training and combat skills.
